Energy-efficient lighting will appear in Zelenogradsky and Nesterovsky districts of the Kaliningrad region
More than 3,000 modern Russian-made LED lamps will be installed in the Zelenograd and Nesterovsky districts to replace obsolete and obsolete gas discharge lamps. The equipment supplier will be a local manufacturer «Prancor» (as part of the innovation cluster «Technopolis GS», Gusev, Kaliningrad region). In total, by the end of the year, the company will supply about 10,000 lamps for street lighting for installation in the region.
LED lamps do not have a warm-up time when turned on, and it is also possible to adjust the luminous flux depending on the overall illumination, including by software methods. In the future, they can be easily integrated with smart city systems. The low level of pulsation and efficient distribution of the luminous flux, due to the effective selection of secondary optics, provide uniform illumination of the street for the comfort and safety of both the driver and the pedestrian. In the production of products «Prankor» uses LED drivers – modern electronic power supplies with a high level of protection, which ensure stable operation of the lamp and a long service life of the diodes. Such lighting has already been installed in Gusev, Ozersk, Neman, Zelenogradsk and other cities of the Kaliningrad region.
The service life of LED lamps manufactured by Prankor is five times longer than that of gas discharge lamps. Modernization of street lighting in the Kaliningrad region is carried out within the framework of the state program "Energy saving and energy efficiency improvement for the period up to 2020" and will reduce energy consumption by at least 40%, as well as reduce maintenance costs by about 5 times.
"Our products have been used in the Kaliningrad region since 2017. In total, since the launch of the project, we have supplied more than 120,000 lamps, more than 5,000 of them already illuminate the roads and streets of 14 municipalities of the Kaliningrad region. We are glad that Russian-made LED lamps are installed in our cities and that we were able to offer a worthy alternative to foreign analogues. We plan to continue cooperation within the framework of the energy efficient lighting program and double the volume of supplies by the end of this year.
Today «Prankor» is a leader in the production of LED lamps in the Kaliningrad region. The production capacity of the plant allows quarterly production of about 10,000 units of LED products. All lamps comply with the technical regulations and norms of the Customs Union.
