Prancor transfers Kaliningrad Oblast to energy-efficient street lighting
In the Kaliningrad region, a street lighting modernization program has been launched: gas discharge lamps are being replaced with modern energy-efficient LED lamps. Work is already underway in Gusev, Ozersk, Neman and Zelenogradsk. Until the end of 2018, the manufacturer of the products - the Prancor plant (as part of the Technopolis GS innovation cluster, the city of Gusev, Kaliningrad Region) - will install more than 4,000 street lighting fixtures in the region.
The service life of new energy-efficient LED lamps manufactured by Prancor is five times longer than previously installed obsolete discharge lamps. Modernization of street lighting in the Kaliningrad region will reduce electricity consumption by at least 40%, as well as reduce maintenance costs by about 5 times.
LEDs flare up instantly and brightly, and also allow you to adjust the luminous flux depending on the overall illumination, including software methods. In the future, they can easily be integrated with smart city systems. Low ripple and efficient light distribution ensure even street lighting for comfort and safety. In the manufacture of products, Prancor uses LED drivers - modern electronic power supplies with a high level of protection, which ensure the stable operation of the lamp and the long life of the diodes.
